Action plan 2017/18

 Families & Children:

  • Tots &Tunes’ Photo Shoot/Nativity, December 2017,

  • Messy Church (6 per year)

  • Continued contact with Plasyfelin School:

             Assemblies (2 per year?),

            Support for Club 707 Reading Scheme (Year 2),

             Year 6 Visit: May 2018,

             Church Holiday and Youth Clubs,

             Monthly Film Club (Saturday pm).

  • Continued annual application to Town Council for financial support for projects connected to the work of the Children and Families’ Worker.

Peer Group:

  • Coffee Time Carol Concert & Photo Shoot, December 2017;

  • Involve Fellowships of Ebenezer, LLanbradach & Bethel, Penyrheol and Complex residents in social & religious events in the Church;

  • Urban Carol Walk, December 2017 (Sunday performance), performing somewhere in the town, finally visiting Church View Residential Home;

  • Back to Church Sunday – the date and format of invitation to be decided;

  •  Continuation of Bible Study with John Morgan, simultaneously developing ministry from within. Bible Study to be advertised in all local churches;

  • Examine again format for morning and evening worship at our Church.

Extended Community:

  • Support, with greater commitment, the work of Club 707, particularly in the schools, the Pentecost Celebration, the Big Cheese Christian Stall and Worship Service;

  • Continue to provide refreshments  , for runners and spectators during the Annual 10km Charity Run;

  • Continue to publicise the Flower Festival “Songs of Praise” (4.30pm) in the Caerphilly area - publicity drop?

  • Publicity drop of “A Warm Welcome” (leaflet version of the Church informational booklet) in new areas in the locality;

  • Continue to update content of Church website/ Facebook page with mission in mind.
